I'm sitting here, completely and utterly overwhelmed.
I'm overwhelmed by gratefulness. Gratefulness to do the thing I love and have always dreamed of doing: Photography.
I think that so often in this world we put aside the thing we love and make excuses for our dreams because we live in the "real world". Never really giving them a second thought but always missing something in our hearts. Now, those dreams don't have to become careers or businesses but when we go after them, even as a hobby, we can feel fulfilled. We can contribute to society something that no one else can. You have something hidden inside of you that would add so much to this world, too!
I spent years telling myself I would never be a photographer, that this would never happen. And then, doors opened and I couldn't stop myself. It became my only true passion in this world, aside from my marriage and family, and I'm so glad that I gave it a chance.
I'm grateful for you, too, because you make this dream possible. I love being able to share this with you, to capture your families and make photographs you'll treasure forever. I hope that we will continue to work together in the future too.
My heart is overwhelmed. And I wrote this post to say "thank you".
Thank you for being a part of this, whether a fan of my work or a client or both. Thank you.
