A Spring Family Session

I've always admired the innocence of a child but as I've grown older, it's become one of my favorite things to observe in life. Their sheer fascination with the simplest joys in life remind me to stop and enjoy the beauty, to look at the sunset, to laugh, to jump into the pool feet first.

This session was focused on this little guy turning 2. He was so happy to be in the woods, sit on the red rocking chair, and pick dandelions. His smile and laughter were contagious and this... this is what I love about kids. Perfect innocence and joy.

But I also love the family part, the connection. This family was absolutely beautiful and the weather made it even more gorgeous! My favorite moments in a family session is when you don't look at my camera, when you're connecting and interacting. This, to me, is magic. It's the beauty in humanity. And I love capturing it for years to come.

If you are looking to have photos of your little one(s) and/or your family, please contact me. I'd love to talk with you about setting up a session!
